Three Sentences That Will Get the Attention of an Interviewer

Interviewing is stressful.  Preparation is one of the best ways to conquer that stress.  This article suggests three sentences you’ll want to work into your interview prep.

  • I’ve had a lot of success with that in the past.
  • I’m really excited about that.
  • I’ve been discussing this with a colleague.

These three sentences are guaranteed to catch the attention of any interviewer.  The second one, “I’m really excited about that,” is the most useful.  You may not be able to use the first and third sentences truthfully.  But you can always tell the interviewer that you are excited about the opportunity they offer and what they are doing.  If you can’t truthfully say this to an interviewer, you probably shouldn’t be at the interview in the first place.
