Good for you -- we all need to reduce our carbon footprint, and the old ways of keeping our clothes and house clean still work today.

About three months ago our clothes dryer broke down and I told my husband that instead of getting it fixed or getting a new one that we should use a solar clothes dryer (AKA clothes line). We've decreased our carbon foot print considerably. On top of that our clothes always smell fresh. we are also using natural products from around the house to keep the house clean. It's amazing how well vinegar, lemon juice, baking soda and salt can clean your house. On top of that we've got a little more money in our pockets to do other things to help the environment like buy energy efficient bulbs which reciprocates with even more savings that can be used to buy even more energy efficient, carbon footprint lightening products.
