Do You Have a WOW Work Ethic?

Darren Hardy is the publisher of SUCCESS Magazine.  I like his magazine, read it from cover to cover every month.  I also like Darren’s blog posts.  This one on the importance of a strong work ethic caught my eye, so I’m sharing it here.

First of all, I do not suggest you try to emulate Aaron Levie.  He’s successful, but at what cost?  I’m a hard worker, but I don’t keep that kind of schedule.

On the other hand, successful people tend to work harder than others.  They are willing to put in the time and effort necessary to reach their life and career success dreams.  As Lou Holtz, former head football coach at Notre Dame says, “No one ever drowned in sweat.”

I saw a Pinterest post the other day that went something like this…

One year from now, what will you wish you had done today?

That’s a very interesting question.  If you get in the habit of working hard and doing your best every day, you probably won’t have regrets one year from now.  On the other hand, if you allow yourself to slack off today, you might do so tomorrow, and the next day and the next.

So take a tip from the publisher of SUCCESS Magazine.  Make it a habit to work hard every day — and success will come your way.
