Many members of my career mentoring site plan on starting a business at some point in their career. All successful businesses begin with a solid business plan. But creating a traditional business plan is a time consuming endeavor. At the Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver we use a business plan tool called a Business Canvas.

I love the Business Canvas model. I am in the process of rethinking my career mentoring business and will be using the Business Canvas process to help clarify my thinking. I’ll share it with you as soon as I have finished it.
